The group owns and runs the popular Hakkasan Restaurant in Mayfair, which has gained an excellent reputation for its modern take on Chinese cuisine and has retained a Michelin star for many years.
The project
Tao Group approached Environtec following their fire risk assessment. They requested a fire door survey to ensure the fire doors installed in the restaurant would perform as intended in the event of an emergency.
The solution
Our Fire Safety team carried out the initial fire door survey at a time that was convenient, taking lunchtime service into consideration and respecting the privacy needs of the client. Over 30 doors were thoroughly inspected during the day-long session, which did provide its own challenges due to the size of many of the restaurant’s doors. The survey went smoothly and Tao Group was provided with a full report upon completion.
