As a leading regional procurement specialist, EN:Procure has achieved its goal of enhancing local communities in the North of England by appealing to small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply for the framework. Of the 54 who’ve won their bid, 47 are SMEs.
Environtec’s Managing Director, Paul Shaw, said: “We’re very pleased to have been awarded a place on EN:Procure’s Asbestos, Demolition and Water Hygiene Services Gen-4 Framework. We’re proud to be asked to keep spaces safe for social housing providers and public sector bodies.”
Emma Mottram, director of operations at EN:Procure said: “The asbestos and demolition sector is of huge importance to the construction industry, with projects needing careful planning to protect workers and the public when dealing with this hazardous material that can have serious legal and health-related consequences.”
“Providing modern, compliant and sustainable properties is at the core what we do at EN:Procure, and we always aim to work with contractors who can demonstrate their dedication to providing social value and having an important impact on their communities,” she said.
