Fire Log Book (Fire Safety Records)
Introduction
A Fire Log Book is designed to assist with the statutory requirements within the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Environtec’s Fire Log Books contain the following management record forms and advisory notes:
- Frequency of test - summary
- Portable fire equipment
- Fire warning system
- Means of escape, fire signage and notices
- Fire safety training
- Emergency lighting
- Hot work permit
- Record and test of electrical equipment
We offer two levels of Fire Log Books:
- A general log book containing the above information which is completed with the site property details; and
- A site specific log book which has sections that are relevant to the individual site following a site visit by a fire safety adviser.
Competence and Experience
Our fire safety consultants are members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) International Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and hold the nationally recognised NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management. Our more experienced advisors work towards the Diploma in Fire Safety.
