Registered Social Landlord EPCs

Introduction

The new requirement for EPCs on leased property has generated a significant amount of work in the social housing sector.

Environtec believe that we are in an extremely strong position to offer Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) the manpower and administrative competence to implement this new government legislation in a speedy and cost effective fashion on housing stock right across the country.

Each EPC will last for 10 years unless substantial work is carried out during this time which is likely to improve a property's rating.  For example if a new boiler was fitted or if double glazing was installed. Environtec offer RSLs with a long term solution, factoring in significant discounts for renewal work and bulk ordering. In short, we will work with an RSL to calculate the best way to implement this legislation across their housing stock, maximising efficiencies and minimising cost.

To reduce the disruption to many tenants we may be able to offer a sampling/cloning option, available in areas where there are a large number of properties of a similar size and style (e.g. large blocks of apartments or estates).

This method would also attract a significantly discounted fee structure.
