Course Information
Who is it for?
Those who currently hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and requiring training or refreshing in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), or medical professionals such as nurses or doctors who wish to refresh their skills.
Course Content
The defibrillator training follows current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines and delegates can be trained in the use of an AED in only a few hours. Delegates will receive thorough training in the following:
- Resuscitation refresher
- Safety & legal aspects of defibrillation
- Life threatening cardiac rhythms
- Application and practical training in the use of the AED
Assessment
Delegates are observed throughout the course by the trainer demonstrating practical skills and answering oral questions.
Qualification and Certificates
On successful completion of the course the delegate will receive an Environtec attendance certificate which is valid for 12 months.
