BOHS P402 Refresher for Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys

* A charge of £50 + VAT will be added to all re-sit exam fees (in addition to the BOHS exam fee) to cover venue costs. This charge will not apply to candidates who have previously attended the course with Environtec.

Course Information

Who is it for?

The HSE advises qualified asbestos surveyors to refresh their qualification and competence at regular intervals.  The course is therefore designed for anyone wishing to update their original P402 qualification and focuses on new technical developments and legislative changes.

Course Content

Candidates will receive an overview of the original course and will focus on new technical developments and legislative changes with regard to carrying out asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys – this will include risk assessment and risk management strategies  Focus will be made on changes in the guidance particularly with HSG 264 and its new requirements.  The course includes a full range of PowerPoint presentations, accompanying notes and additional course materials.  Please follow the links below for further information on the course syllabus.

Assessment

This course contains a short answer questions examination.

 
Qualification and Certificates

Candidates will receive a certificate of attendance and achievement and those delegates who choose a BOHS accredited refresher course will be issued with a certificate of competency by BOHS upon successful completion of the short answer questions examination.
